چکیده
Objectives: To compare the bond strength of printed and conventionally produced denture base resins to reline after being submitted a physical-chemical aging process. Methods: Sixty specimens (10×10×3.3 mm) two (V-Print Dentbase Denture 3D+) one (Probase Hot) were relined with acrylic resins: Ufi Gel Hard C Probase Cold (n=10). The 1000 cycles thermal fluctuations (5-55ºC) 28 days pH using pH=3 (8 h/day) pH=7 (16 h/day). Then, shear was evaluated (1 KN; 1 mm/min), failure mode classified as adhesive, cohesive, or mixed type. Data analyzed Kruskal-Wallis t-tests (=0.05). Results: Bond values ranged from 8.9 21.5 MPa. No statistically significant (p=0.07) differences found between three resins. resin did not significantly affect However, relining Hot yielded higher (p<0.001) than C. Only Hot-Ufi group revealed 100% failures adhesive Conclusions: obtained similar chemical

Factors affecting the bond strength of denture base and reline acrylic resins to base metal materials
OBJECTIVE The shear bond strengths of two hard chairside reline resin materials and an auto-polymerizing denture base resin material to cast Ti and a Co-Cr alloy treated using four conditioning methods were investigated. MATERIAL AND METHODS Disk specimens (diameter 10 mm and thickness 2.5 mm) were cast from pure Ti and Co-Cr alloy. The specimens were wet-ground to a final surface finish of 6...
متن کاملShear Bond Strength of Acrylic Denture Teeth to PMMA and Polyamide Denture Base Materials
Introduction: Detachment of denture teeth from denture base is one of the most common reasons for costly denture repairs .This study aimed at evaluating the bond strength of an acrylic denture tooth to polyamide injection-molded thermoplastic denture base material compared with three conventional polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) denture base resins. Materials and Method: A total of 40 acrylic dent...
متن کاملeffect of surface treatments on shear bond strength of denture teeth to denture base resins
background: debonding of denture teeth from denture bases is the most common failure in removable dentures. the purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of surface treatments on shear bond strength of denture teeth to heat-polymerized and autopolymerized denture base resins. materials and methods: in this experimental in vitro study, 60 maxillary central incisor acrylic teeth were divid...
متن کاملEffect of degradation of denture base resin on bond strength to relining resins.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of degradation of a denture base resin on bond strength to relining resins. Denture base resin specimens were immersed under various conditions to simulate degradation. Tensile bond strength of denture base resin after immersion to relining resins was measured with or without surface grinding. The bond strength of denture base resin without g...

PURPOSE This study assessed the shear bond strength of 4 hard chairside reline resins (Kooliner, Tokuso Rebase Fast, Duraliner II, Ufi Gel Hard) to a rapid polymerizing denture base resin (QC-20) processed using 2 polymerization cycles (A or B), before and after thermal cycling. MATERIALS AND METHODS Cylinders (3.5 mm x 5.0 mm) of the reline resins were bonded to cylinders of QC-20 polymerize...
